You don’t have a soul.
You are a soul.
You have a body.
— C. S. Lewis
Whatever the context may be, I always consider myself at my model’s service. I first think how to help him/her to play a character or express an emotion, and I look for the techincal way to achieve it only thereafter. I don’t just “apply” a pattern or a design –nice as it may be–, I rather try to give substance to an idea, a desire, or an atmosphere through cosmetical devices. I adapt to every person, in every workframe, to offer him/her a unique, taylor-made interpretation of him/her request.

Once upon a time…
I’ve been a bodypainting artist for more than 20 years in various sectors such as private or corporate events, advertising, photography, live entertainment or television.
In order to alleviate the ephemeral nature of my creations, I have become their photographer and regularly exhibit in Belgium or abroad. As a photographer, I try to reveal the essence of the characters rather than to show off a technical skill.
